Low Carb Progress Update: Three Months

Yesterday marks my third month anniversary in the low carb lifestyle and I won’t lie – I totally thought about quitting last night.

It’s not that I’m tired of eating low carb, I still enjoy the food.  I still love how I feel, the energy, the sense of control over my appetite… but the scale has continued to be so irksome!  I didn’t know how much longer I could fight over the same two or three pounds and wondered if I should switch over to Weight Watchers or something different.

Well this morning the scale finally budged.  It read 295 :)   Wahoo!!  It’s only one ‘new’ pound of loss but it brings my total loss up to twenty.  I’ll take that pound and keep holding onto this low carb dream awhile longer ;)

And yep, I’m still going to the gym regularly.  Even tonight when I really, really didn’t feel like it ;)

    I am new to your blog. Keep up the good work. I have a couple of ideas to lend. I use low carb totillas and make pizzas and quesodillas. It gives you another option beside cold wraps when you want something hot.

  2. Thanks for the suggestion – I have not done anything hot with a wrap yet but it sound good :)
